ICSI Announces CS Professional Exam with New Syllabus for June 2024, Offers Option to Switch Over
Students enrolled in the CS Professional new syllabus for 2022 must successfully complete a pre-exam test as a prerequisite for CS Main enrollment.
Starting from August 1, 2023, the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will introduce a new syllabus for the CS Professional program. The first exam under this new syllabus, which is known as the 2022 syllabus, will take place in June 2024.
If you registered for the program before July 31, you will follow the old 2017 syllabus. However, those who registered on or after August 1 will study the new 2022 syllabus. If you're on the old syllabus but want to switch to the new one, you can do so by paying a pretest fee, starting from November 21.
The last chance to take the exam under the 2017 syllabus is in December 2024.
Students enrolling in the CS Professional new syllabus 2022 will need to complete a pre-exam test before taking the CS Main exams.
Here's a breakdown of the new syllabus, which includes seven subjects divided into two groups.
