DETAILED CSEET SYLLABUS: ELIGIBILITY, REGISTRATION AND PATTERN

Candidates who are studying using the most recent and updated CSEET Syllabus 2023 are likely to perform well on the ICSI CS Executive Entrance Test 2023. Due to this, we have included the necessary information on the ICSI CSEET Syllabus 2023 in the following sections. In order to improve your score on the CSEET Exam 2023, prepare adequately.

As per the exam pattern of CSEET, there are four papers in CSEET each having a separate relevance. By going through the CSEET 2023 syllabus candidates can know the topics and subtopics covered in each paper from which the questions are asked.

Each paper is related to a different domain. The four papers covered under CSEET syllabus 2023 are

  • Business Communication (50 marks)
  • Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks)
  • Economic & Business Environment (50 marks)
  • Current Affairs, Presentation, and communication skills (20 marks)

CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) shall be conducted on a single day as per the following

Computer Based Test of 120 Minutes consisting of four parts viz.

  • Business Communication;
  • Legal Aptitude & Logical Reasoning
  • Economic and Business Environment &
  • Current Affairs

Eligibility Conditions

  • A candidate passed / appearing in the Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination or equivalent thereto shall be eligible to appear in the CSEET.
  • All Graduates/ Post Graduates who were hitherto eligible for registration directly to CS Executive Programme, shall also be required to pass the CSEET to become eligible for registration to CS Executive Programme.

Documents for CSEET 2023 Registration?

While filling the CSEET application form, candidates must have the soft copy of the following documents and information ready-

  • Candidate’s photograph (size 20 kb to 50 kb)
  • Signature of the candidate (size 10 kb to 20 kb)
  • 10th pass certificate (for date of birth verification)
  • Admit card 10+2 exams (if appearing) or 10+2 pass marksheet/ certificate
  • Category certificate (in case candidate is applying for fee concession)
  • Any one identity proof (Aadhar card/ voter ID/ pan card/ driving license/ ration card/ passport)

Exemptions

  • Candidates who have passed CS Foundation Programme shall be exempted from CSEET without any payment of exemption fee.
  • Candidates who have passed the Final Examination of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and/or The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) are exempted from CSEET and shall pay ₹5000 (Rupees Five Thousand Only) towards exemption fee at the time of Registration to CS Executive Programme.

Pattern of the CSEET

Details related to the mode of exam, number of questions asked, marking scheme, total time duration, total papers etc. are mentioned in the exam pattern of CSEET 2023. ICSI prescribes the exam pattern officially. Candidates preparing for the exam must check the exam pattern once to understand the given details. Any changes in the exam pattern by ICSI will be notified in this article.
